Thats a nice gun Brad. I bought a Springfield XD last year and have yet to shoot it. I carry a glock model 36, which is pretty similar in size to your new compact Springfield.

Awesome. I have the service model, excellent piece. My BIL has sub-com in .40, and I think it actually shoots tighter groups than my 9mm 4"

Thanks fellas. I paid $541 out the door at Shooter's Corner in Texas City. Those are some kam up dudes and they will be getting my business again for sure. Top it all off...they are duck hunters!
CHL is on the NEAR FUTURE to do list. The only reason I got the 9 instead of the 40 is because momma will be shooting it. When I go purchase the 40 in a few months, the 9 will become hers to carry. That's right boys Momma Wilson will also be packing heat in the near future! |

Nice gun...I carry the Tactical 5" .45 Bi-Tone with thunb safety and love it. Sending off my frame here in a week to have a grip treatment and magwell done to it...then the gun will be complete.

Great gun! You'll love shooting it. I have the XDM 9mm and it's quite the shooter. In fact, we we're at the range last night. My wife carries the Glock 19 and in my opinion the SA is a much better shooter.
We'll be running the CHL class again at church pretty soon if you're interested.

We usually go to Marksman range in South Houston.
The last class used two ranges, Marskman in South Houston and Texas City. We bring in an instructor, he teaches for two nights and you schedule range time with him. I'll keep you posted.
