I don't spend much time at all on the coast, so at the risk of sounding like a total douche, what is that thing on the transom next to the motor that also has a red circle around it? I've seen that on some other bay boats and was just curious. Don't beat me up too bad.

It's a Powerpole. It works as a shallow water anchor system, on a hydrolic pump. Check it out online. It's a genious idea. Wish I'd have thought of it.

Well, my question is why do you need a Powerpole as an anchor when you can opbviously use your boat as the anchor quite well?

I'm guessin it's the same concept as when you see an old beater 1988 Honda Civic with one of them big ol spoilers across the trunk and the ground effects air dams all the way around..............no real practical use or functionality, just looks......................cool?

Dang Bobby, I guess this one is never gonna die.
I was wondering one thing.......I noticed that you had a GPS/depth finder on the boat.....was it not plugged in or was that Yamaha just too fast for the electronics to keep up? Oh yeah, are you signaling to Curt that he is number one?
